I was just curious about the steps necessary to receive an official diagnosis. I'm not having a major issue in my life now, nor am I'm incapable of functioning. Are there any online exams I can take to get a rough estimate. Also what does this typical cost. I have medical insurance, but I imagine the teasing is pretty extensive. What should I ask for?

If you aren't having any major difficulties you may find it difficult to get diagnosed, as part of the DSM-V criteria include your level of impairment. You might have all the symptoms, but if you don't experience any difficulties you might not get the diagnosis.
