I worked in kitchens for almost ten years. I don't feel at all surprised. I had several co-workers who could cook amazing food and who seemed likely to go on to executive chef positions, and I think that seems like the most likely diagnosis for them.

I found it interesting (but not surprising) how the medical professionals divided up. The "fewest psychopaths" section had care aid, nurse, therapist and doctor. But over in the "most psychopaths" section is surgeon. The nurses, aids, therapists and non-surgical doctors want to help people. The surgeons want to cut people up while they are immobilized. :eew: :eew: :eew:

For teacher being 7th least, how would they rate if you removed phy ed teachers from them, as those would certainly make the top 10 list. And no drill sergeants in the top 10 either?

How about upping the ante?

Is it possible that some psychopaths (including some WP members) are misdiagnosed as having Asperger Syndrome instead?

(try spending 10 minutes in the Love & Dating forum without arriving at this suspicion.)

I don't know why everyone is so surprised to see chef listed there, the job is all about ego and control and maniacal perfectionism, you practically have to be crazy to work in a commercial kitchen (and if you weren't to start with, you will be after a few years).

I'm surprised teachers showed up on the lesser side. I've always found them to be narcissistic psychopaths.

For potential Jack the Ripper types the most useful profession is being a surgeon. That way one can slice and dice and be doing something useful at the same time.
