If it is so great over there, why don't liberals move there? They always talk about Libertarians moving to Somalia, then why don't they practice what they preach? Maybe we should book a free one way ticket to NK or Europe. Write it off as welfare, although it will help us in the long run :D .

Europe would be great.

North Korea isn't quite consistent with FDR's Bill of Rights.

North Korea wouldn't be for us.

Well I am not necessarily a conservative (people should be able to f**k whomever they want (as long as consent is given) ). I am just pissed at liberals saying Somalia or such. I am personally for abolishing the nation state. It is outdated and is a relic of a bygone time.

Why Don't Liberals Move to Europe?

Because then they would no longer have anything to whine about.

Mainly because most of Europe won't let Americans in as naturalized citizens unless you invest hundreds of thousands of dollars or are a skilled trades worker or have a high level college degree.

So no, America can't pull a Castro and put all the dissidents to American Freedom Loving Conservatism on boats to Norway and be like "Here, you take them!"

If it weren't for the option of Europe mostly not wanting non-EU people in it, I'm sure many more people would be going there, including American liberals who work as Starbucks baristas or part time doing graphics for websites or something. And also probably the minorities we had as slaves until 1863 and were segregated until the 60s, and had plans like LBJ's Great Society ruin every last bit of everything they ever had. They'd probably wanna go to Europe too if they got a free ticket.

So the only way Europe will let mass amounts of Americans in is as refugees if we have another civil war. Basically it.

I'd imagine

a) There's a decent amount of Muslim professionals who can meet skill needs.
b) In the case of France, colonial ties to certain majority Muslim nations factor in.

Damnit.

The French sent people over for the Revolution. Doesn't that create some ties over here?

Watched that documentary on the DPRK last might.

It appears that a lot more information is getting in, more people than before have access to media, and the peasants are a lot less observant and unquestioning than they used to be.

How awful. What a shame for fat boy.

That's a bit like the most disgusting and repellent young woman in town not offering anyone sex.

No loss.

Erm, there is a lot of public sentiment across Europe (and relatively new parties that represent that sentiment) against foreigners simply turning up and claiming benefits.
