Kik, snapchat, etc? (Mainly for minors...)

Do your parents object to these apps? I know both Kik and SnapChat can both be really dangerous for underage users, but does anyone here just use them for chatting with friends?

I personally don't have them, but my sister does, so I wouldn't say that my parents object. Also, Kik can be especially bad when paired with Omegle.

I don't find what it so appealing about these apps, and if I did, I'm not the most social person in the world, lol.

I used to use Whatsapp for some weeks with a girl (she convinced me), but I had/have nothing to talk about.
It seems Whatsapp is uncool :lol:

I do not use either one, my friends use snapchat but I never saw the appeal. I don't know my parents' stance on kik but I have been apprehensive about it because I know the negative reputation it has garnered.

Dont really see the point in all these different ways of communication .
