Okay, I heard this from youngest son, who heard this from middle grandaughter, who heard it from my middle grandson, that my oldest grandson and his girlfriend are having a baby. I am trying to be upset about it in my mind, because they are both so young and neither has come close to finishing their education, but I AM SO EXCITED! If it turns out not to be true [or if they terminate] I will be dissapointed. What's wrong with me?

My great-granny was an illegitimate mother who left her kinds, and who let them be brought up by their great-great granddad, who was a conscientious objector during WWI and went to prison for his beliefs.

Normal feelings. It's instinct to get excited about when someone is going to have a baby. Part of being human.

Can I ask why this is in the General Autism forum?

I don't see a connection with autism.

You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

What would these results mean? Been told here I must be a "half pint".

Perhaps its becouse you almost lost your own life that you would have such a positive view of life in general as well is the prospect of being a great grandmother?

Not many people become a great grandparent, at least not anyone still in their 50's! My great grandma was in her 90's when I was born. I can't even remember her.
