Are there any particular voices that you find soothing, relaxing, almost "sexy?" Like, they're just really pleasant and non-stressful to hear/listen to? If so, what kinds are they, or to whom do they belong?

Some of my favorite soothing voices are those of:

- Forest Whitaker

- Sterling Holloway

- John Goodman

- Johnny Depp

- Stacey Keach

- James Gandolfini

- Lauren Ambrose

- Catherine O'Hara

- Leslie Nielsen

- Thurl Ravenscroft

- Phil Lamarr

- John C. Reilly

- Jack McBrayer

- Josh Gad

- Didi Conn

- Priyanka Chopra

- Ellen Degeneres

- Matthew Broderick

- Andrea Libman (especially when she does the voice of Fluttershy)

- Meryl Streep

- Fred Rogers

- My dad

- My favorite aunt

- My therapist

Dr. Tony Attwood. Also with him whatever he seems to say goes smoothly into my brain. When others people talk I have to really concentrate to understand the information they are trying to convey.

There is an iPhone app called Relax+ that was developed with the assistance of British therapist Andrew Johnson (I think his practice is in Manchester). That is one soothing voice.

I second Johnny Depp. But how on earth could you not mention Seth MacFarlane??? His voice is my favorite and it is super relaxed and bassy. It is kind of like eating warm pudding. But with your ears??

My all time favorite is Dee Sebastian. She is a news reader on the BBC and at the end of sentences speaks with two notes. Very mesmerizing for me.

Michelle Norris... a NPR reader.

Sam A. Mowry (voice actor, best known as the voice of Alexander in Amnesia: The Dark Descent)

J. Michael Tatum (voice actor, has done many roles but I know him as the voice of the main character in Black Blood Brothers)

Cecil Baldwin (voices the unnamed radio announcer in the popular podcast Welcome to Nightvale)

Thank you for recommending this; I am always on the lookout for good free apps. I am going to try it tonight. :)

Me too, but he's also sexy!

Morgan Freeman is comforting. Like a dad would be if I had a dad. I'd like him to be Morgan Freeman.

I like Mitchel Musso's voice a lot for some reason. It's really nice.

I also like Johnny Depp, Evanna Lynch, Idina Menzel, and anyone with a German or Russian accent.

Adrian is very handsome and sexy indeed! :D But when I think of how I like his voice I don't think of it in a sexy way. Morgan Freeman is very paternal also and I like that about him.

I find Irish accents to be relaxing. I believe I have a physical weakness for German accents, in a good way.

Both Ozzy & Strut are voiced by Jeff Bennett and Rob Paulsen; I've always had an admiration for Rob's talent in being able to do MULTIPLE different accents. He also provides the voice for Gordon Quid, a Scottish Manx Cat in the Nicktoon, Catscratch.

I also can't help but get chills down my spin whenever John de Lancie preforms as Discord... It's just that good!

Also, I kind of find my own breathing to be soothing to me sometimes, especially if I begin humming!
