Are you motivated by money?

Wanting to earn a decent living so you can provide for yourself & family is being responsible. I think of being motivated as money as not caring about providing or independence but rather desiring money when you don't have a real need or plan to use it; your motivated by making your bank account grow for the sake of it instead of what you need, want or use the money for.
