I think I have a phobia of bugs with pincers. Ants (UUUUGH!! !), Japanese ladybugs, stag beetles (I saw a picture of one on Google Images and just about had a heart attack), but for some reason earwigs don't bother me that much.

Spiders do make me nervous when they move fast, but other than that, I'm not that afraid of them. I actually have five plush ones that I snuggle with, and they have fangs and everything. Even the Red Back one doesn't bother me (she did at first, but then again she just has a different pattern than the other four. The other four have combined chelicerae/palps and hers are separate. Yes, I had a short-term special interest in spiders. That's how I know the terms. ).

Does anyone else have this fear, and how do they manage it?
