Okay I have already tried to post this once but I think I accidentally pressed refresh. Anyway lately I've been sick my doctor says I have really bad postnatal drip I've been having this and I was young but I also have a bad cold.

This past 2 weeks has been something to say the least some bad life stuff that has been going on and I can't talk about it don't worry it's not about me per se it's just about someone who is affecting me but not directly if you know what I mean it's a really long story.

Anyway I've been trying to ignore the proble and just ignore / not worry or whatever but then I got sick and further past few weeks I think I've been feeling like I don't know how to describe it let's put this by this week I've been really sick runny nose cough and sneezing once throw up headaches dizziness inability to concentrate in class or do any work and even more loss of appetite more autistic behavior and an even harder time than usual posting on here.

Anyway I would be sick all day and then when I went home but then at night I was kinda better for a short while and go to bed and repeat the process.

And I just feel like I want all the bad stuff go away and I want to feel better but it's not feeling better yet. When do you think my cold and and post nasal drip will feel better?

How does being sick effect you?

I've had to go to school all this week because I don't have a fever and because of my postnasal drip I'm not contagious and I've just been feeling awful all week.

It's all I can really post right now please excuse me if it's out a little jumbled and not making much sense.

I know what you mean, I do. Being under the weather is horrible. You really don't feel like you.

I don't get that feeling much now that i'm an old grandma except when I'm starting depression again, so you might want to think about that, but do wait until you are over this bug before you consider that please.

When your head is stopped up and you are taking cold medicine, you kind of feel all funny. That happens to everybody. You just have to put your shoulder to the wheel and keep going. It get better sweetie, I do promise you.

Hey Jen, I'm sorry you're having tough times. I'm having some not so much fun stuff going on too. Doesn't it suck that you have to keep going at times like this? THere should just be I Don't Feel LIke Doing It days. No we have to get up and go to work and go to school>. It's even worse when you are physically ill though. Big hugs!

You can always pm me if you want to talk about anything, you know.

But anyway, take heart, summer is coming soon (do you get summer breaks)? I don't even know what schools do these days.

I had postnatal drip problems sense I was little. Some of it is caused by chronic allergies & sinus problems that sometimes caused me to get sinus infections. I take the asthma & allergy med Singulair & the antihistamine Xyzal & I sometimes use a nasal spray & saline. I have an appointment at the end of the month with an ears nose & throat doc I saw a couple times & I'll sign paperwork & discuss surgery details to correct a deviated septum. The inside of my nose is crooked alittle & probably contributes to my sinus problems & minor sleep apnea that I'll maybe get a sleep study done for abit after the surgery. I also have GERD which is Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease. A muscle or something doesn't work rite & stomach acid comes back up into the throat & it can cause a post nasal drip as well as some other sinus symptoms. I take Pepcid abit before I eat a meal for it. You probably don't have all these issues & maybe none of em but it's stuff to consider talking to your doc about if you haven't already & maybe getting a referral to an allergist sense there are treatments available & if you don't have it you can consider looking for other causes. I know I feel bad when my sinuses flare up for abit & having to deal or knowing about unpleasant stuff going on even when my sinuses are OK can put me in a bad mood & run me down. I hope you feel better real soon & your welcome to PM me if you'd like to talk more about this or anything else.

Are you stressed?

I know if I get sick it is a good sign that I am under too much stress....usually I don't really get colds or anything. But yeah if somethings stressing me out too much it weakens my immunity. I also have PTSD so its not just normal stress, sometimes I get over-stressed about things most people wouldn't even find very stressful. But yeah I am just getting over a cold I got quite soon after a severe panic attack I had...I was so worn down and exausted afterwords I think my immunity had gone to s**** so I caught an unpleasant cold.

From what I understand garlic and echinecha(uhh don't know how to spell it but its a good herb for immunity)....are good things to ingest to help boost the immune system.
