Possibly that is "cat language" for mutualism, which is the way 2 organisms of different species exist in a relationship where each individual benefits. That is the relationship between a cat and his/her person. Similar interactions within a species [like humans] is known as cooperation.
Domestic cats, apart from hunting, are also very social animals.

A group[ or herd] of domestic cats [and they do watch out for each other, particularly by the females] is called a clowder. [also a glarer] So, come on people; let's stop beliveing NT propaganda saying otherwise and work cooperatively for our people, for our children, for ourselves.

Mu-Mu-Meow [possibly, I am slightly off in the translation, but my best friends cat assures me that it is accurate]

My cat thinks that sounds too much like a half cow half cat, Vicky :D - although we love cows too!

I wanted to ask you - I have a ton of ideas of things I would like to do with the Autism community, but I keep getting stuck on how to start, I just keep thinking tomorrow or the next day or when I"m done with x, y and Z.

How did you get yourself to walk into unfamiliar territory and know how to do it? You can inspire us all!

I think there may be a tiny bit more to the translation, possibly a "purr, purrrrrr", a satisfaction.
:P
I like the idea though.

When I read the title of this thread, I was expecting pictures of people at AutHaven wearing mu-mus. :rabbit:

Domestic cats, like domestic dogs have been neotenized as a result of selecting for traits that make them more docile toward humans. So the relationship between humans and cats is more like a parent-child relationship.

Autistic people working cooperatively for the good of each other is a good idea, and from what I read on WP and organizations like ASAN, self advocacy and promoting aunderstanding is much needed.

I think maybe cat language for mutualism is when two cats walk up to each other, extend their noses toward each other, and then walk past each other, brushing each other just barely, and looping their tails toward each other so that the tails briefly intertwine. A cat doing this to a human will brush against the human's leg, often bumping its hips against your ankle and brushing its tail against your leg. It's a sort of "You are clan" friendly expression. :)

Take your cat to a speech therapist.

My cat does this.
Except in a more extreme way, we like him more than dogs because he does not trust anybody else in the world except for us and he will always run away from everyone else.
He sometimes brushes past, then nuzzles our feet then sits on them.
:D He is awesome and he is called Mingus after the Jazz musician Charles Mingus.

This terrified me.
I had to stop watching.
I normally like Japanese music (not sure if this is Japanese music or if I am generalising) but I did not like this.

Why does this thread make me think of the line from the anime Tokyo Mew Mew:
"MewMew style, MewMew grace, MewMew Power in your face!"
