Did you ever see the Second Severn Crossing under construction? The tower cranes on the RC pylons to the cable-stayed section? Some view from up there, I bet!

Reminds me of when I was a lad (not that long ago
) . I worked on a site where every morning at 7.00, the 25stone crane driver would start the great ascent. Must of took him all of half an hour. At 10a.m and 1p.m, he'd lower a bucket down on a very long chord. The tea boy would place bacon sandwiches in it, which would be hauled up. At the end of the shift, he'd lower what was left back down along with a bottle of piss!
