I bit old fashioned but I'd give them a shot. Can't be any worse than modern day pickup lines.........

I recommend the Casanova method: Praise the smart ones for their looks, and the pretty ones for their brains.

And if you find one who's both smart and pretty, marry her. That's what I did. :D

I think any man who told a lady nowadays that she had "legs as stately and firm as marble pillars" would probably find himself firmly kicked by one of the pillars.

Here's a more modern variation ;) : Darling, your botox-stiffened face is as serenely beautiful as the Venus de Milo's

Quote:
"Her breasts are soft and tender as the Pelican's."

Was feeling up pelicans a common practice back then?

"You got my interest, wanna have a drink?".

This is the shortcut way.

Nothing beats compliments when they least expect them.

I got to go find a pelican. I really doubt they are that soft. Now chinchillas I can believe those little buggers are soft.

"Her breasts are the soft Pillows of love."

WAT? If someone tried to court me in that way, I would probably send them on their way  Creepy!

we're out there.
you are right most people are rude and self centered now adays, but it is the ME generation after all :(

my compliments are about their looks, clothes, and personality.

like " you're so playful and fun"
or "you have gorgeous eyes"

LOL.

How to give a compliment: Give the compliment, then back it up with a (decent) reason. Otherwise it's without meaning - empty and insincere.

OK, confessions time, how I met my girlfriend.

I was at the gym and whilst I was working my way around the machines I noticed one of the trainers working with a pretty pony-tailed*** woman. For some reason this guy ALWAYS seemed to train the good looking women so I went up and asked him, "Klaus, how come you always get to train the pretty girls?"

She was in earshot, heard what I said, we got talking, and we've been together ever since.

If I wasn't an aspie I probably wouldn't have gone up and asked such a blunt question, so, sometimes, having AS can work in our favor.

*** So shoot me, I have a weakness for women with a pony tail
