And what birth of extremism on the Democrat's part that gave birth to the tea party might that be?

The reign of tyranny from the toxic trio of Obama, Pelosi and Reid from 2008 - 2010 is what created the Tea Party.

And pray tell, what tyranny did they allegedly enact?

Stimulus. TARP. ObamaCare. These three bills, written by democrats and made law by the Pelosi-Reid Congress will take decades to pay off, if ever. Rather than cut the deficit, they used the spending mistakes of the Bush-era as a license to pile up exponentially more debt. How can you ignore what happened at the polls in 2010? It will happen again. Democrats are distancing themselves once again from Obamacare. Just in time for the election, but there is nowhere to hide.

As I recall, those things were meant to provide services to the American people - an invest in the nation, if you will. Don't be so gleeful about the Affordable Care Act having a negative affect on the Democrats, as more and more people are realizing just how beneficial that program is.
And contrary to popular belief, the reason why the budget expanded was because Obama was honest enough to put the cost of Bush's wars in the budget. And don't forget, Obama had also gotten rid of those idiot tax cuts for the rich, which is a very real reason why the budget had ballooned under Bush.

First and foremost, the deficit has gone down, not up. From the CBO: in 2014 the federal deficit will shrink by $46 billion more than the agency’s previous projection, bringing the total deficit down to $514 billion (in comparison to the $1.9 trillion deficit in 2009). The deficit is projected to decrease again in 2015 to $478 billion, but it is expected to increase after that to cope with the rising cost of healthcare for aging Baby Boomers. The CBO also predicts that unemployment will decline gradually and fall under 6% in 2017.

TARP has actually done quite well. Most of the bailed out companies have actually made the government money. They are still raking in the dough from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.

By most economic studies, the stimulus package slowed the economic collapse drastically.

The ACA is costing the government very little (when you are talking in terms of the federal budget). The vast majority of it is merely setting minimum national standards for insurance companies.

Other than TARP, the majority of deficit was inherited from W's tax breaks and two costly wars. Granted, Obama has done little to improve things, but given the "say no to anything remotely Democrat" he has not done absolutely terrible. About average for a president in terms of the economy. However, there are plenty of other issues where he falls woefully short.
