I don't know if this has been posted here or not,but if it has, sorry, but otherwise, which sport is your most favorite? Do you all think that there's a sport that's the most favorite for Aspies due to the rules either having autistic traits,or because of some other reason? Well, here's the poll, please tell us what your favorite sport is.What sport does sound the most like it was founded by someone on the autism spectrum?

I always liked it when we played soccer, dodge ball, land hockey, ping-pong, rugby, a game we have here that is similar to baseball, and a game that is kinda like dodge ball just everyone against everyone rather than teams. I was never any good at sports at all, but I still liked those.

I keep seeing the claim that we prefer sports like swimming, running etc, but I always preferred ball games.

Isn't the baseball-like game called "rounders?" Cricket is not much like baseball.

Yes! I love swimming in particular!

I also love kayaking, jogging (preferably around a track...grumble), yoga, and horseback riding.

Dodgeball and badmitten were fun in gym class.

I really don't have ONE favorite sport.I like a lot of team sports, but mostly to watch.I did try out for the basketball team at my high school freshman year, but didn't even make the first cut,but I did play little league baseball in 3rd Grade in the late 1980's,and got 6 hits in 20 at-bats (a .300 batting average, which would be almost All-Star material in MLB; we all got about 3 at-bats per game, and the games usually went 6 or 7 innings). My team went 7-0,all the teams named after soda brands, and my team was called 7-Up,and we won the league title due to the unbeaten record.I played little league basketball in 7th Grade but I wasn't as successful in that sport,as I never made a basket, and our team, all the teams named after NBA franchises, named the Jazz, after the Utah NBA team, went 5-5 in 10 games, and I played in 7 of the 10 games (I missed 3 games due to my spraining my ankle in a football game with some friends of mine in the middle of the season),,but was on the bench for most of the games I did go to.

Swimming.
I feel like I am flying when I swim. I also like to dive but cant do it with open nose, I have to close it with my hand or use the mask.

Ringo.
You don't know it, do you? It's similar to volleyball but instead of a playing a ball you throw and catch a flexible rubber circle. I like the touch of it. For me it is like a stim toy.
Throwing it is easy, you don't have to use any strength, it's all about the use of laws of physics (of course, some people use strength instead, but the intellectual way gives better results). And your hand won't hurt when you catch it as long as you do it correctly.
