Hi there. I don't usually have as much self esteem in myself and what I love and who I am often enough. But I'll try it for this post.

I guess I'm a bit like a stereotype of autism or asperger's in some ways. I love My Little Pony and Pokemon and anime. And maybe a little bit self conscious about that fact a little bit sometimes. I don't know why that's an autistic stereotype. I just know it is.

But not just that, I love all things cute and girly. I love make-up, (and Shu Uemura's 6 Hearts Princess commercial for make-up), and Magical Girl anime, and Non Non Biyori and Lucky Star. I like any cute amazing "girly" anime, whether it's Lucky Star Azumanga Diaoh or Pretty Cure. And my two favourite genres are Magical Girl and comedy. But I am open minded to other genres as well. I love every magical girl anime I have watched, though the most depressing was Madoka Magica. I usually prefer heartwarming things. I love Sailor Moon and Pretty Cure and Ojamajo Doremi and Fushigiboshi no Futagohime and Princess Tutu.

I also really like girly and cute cartoons like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Rainbow Brite, Strawberry Shortcake, and lots of others.

So that means I like a lot of both anime and Western cartoons. But I think there are more anime that I like.

I don't watch too many live-action shows from my country. Or even that many live action shows, but I do definitely watch some. Like Japanese dramas and Korean dramas sometimes. And for stuff from here, I watch a lot of political shows like The Rachel Maddow Show, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report, and so forth.

I also read manga. But I seem to read more non-fiction books than non-fiction stories. But the fiction I do like from any media tends to be cute and girly fairy tale type fantasy stories. And that's a part of why I like Japanese RPGs and Magical Girl shows so much. I love fairy tales. Fairy Tales are like, my favourite fiction.

But other than that I tend to read a lot of non-fiction books. Often they're kind of political or maybe a little educational. I like to learn about science and history and sociology when I read. And some of the books I've been reading are Delusions of Gender by Cordelia Fine. It's a great book that I really relate to as an autistic person and a gender non-conforming person. I'm not really fond of a lot of the things that Simon Baron-Cohen says. And I really like that Cordelia Fine made this book challenging gender stereotypes, both in autism and outside of autism. As an autistic person, I really appreciate what she's done.

I also like reading a lot of futurist and transhumanist books like things by Michio Kaku and Ray Kurzweil. They're really fascinating and make the future sound really fun. I hope we can cure most diseases and make more people happier in the future. Anyway, I read a lot of non-fiction, and this is just some of it.

I really like the Pokemon video games. They're some of my favourites. And I'm a really big Nintendo fan, I own most of their games. But I am open minded. And I do own other systems. I have a big Steam library on the PC(and several gaming PCs) and a lot of games for the PlayStation consoles. Outside of Pokemon and Nintendo games, I really like Japanese RPGs. And I like a lot of other things, like Dance Dance Revolution and Beatmania, and Touhou games, and Tales games, and Disgaea, and Atlus games, and other Nippon Ichi games. And I like Harvest Moon, and I like Blazblue and some other fighting games, and I like DoDonPachi and lots of SHMUP games, and I just like lots of games, but not all games. Though I guess it's mostly Nintendo games, and JRPGs, and Arcade style video games that I like.

I like all sorts of music and I really mean that. I've had a lot of time to discover a lot of music and I like a lot of things. Heavy Metal is pretty nice, but I don't like how macho and so often aggressive it is. Black Metal and Death Metal and Doom Metal and Power Metal and Thrash Metal and Folk Metal and all the other genres are all pretty cool. But it can be pretty male dominated and macho and sometimes racist and other nasty things. But it's still pretty neat. And I really like Punk music. And pretty much every genre of punk music and maybe newer kind of punk inspired music. And I kind of like the punk music culture better than heavy metal. I like Riot Grrl and Hardcore Punk and all sorts of things in punk. Ska Punk is pretty happy music so that's also nice. I also really like Industrial music though like Heavy Metal and Punk sometimes it can be a little too aggressive and not too happy for me. I really like Techno music so Electro-Industrial music genres are especially nifty. Neofolk can be kind of racist and offensive, but I like the fairy tale stories there sometimes, just like in Power Metal. And aggrotech is kind of aggressive, and definitely not happy hardcore. But it's pretty neat and I like hardcore techno. Oh, and the futuristic themes are pretty neat. I like hearing industrial music bands sing about future technology. Oh, and futurepop, too.

And I really, really like electronic music or electronic dance music. I love deep house and hardstyle and hardcore and hardstep and gabber and lots of other genres. I tend a little bit more towards techno genres than house genres and some other genres. But I like pretty much all of them.

I don't listen to a whole lot of pop music, but I do like a lot of Jpop and especially denpa music. I really like bubblegum pop and electropop and synthpop and futurepop and military pop and other pop genres like that.

And I'm always discovering new genres and liking them. But two of my favourite genres are probably hardcore punk and hardcore techno.

And that's a lot! But there's more about me, too!

I'm genderqueer and polysexual. I think. It's all rather confusing. I don't think I've fully decided yet. I tend to be pretty Leftist. Peter Kropotkin is pretty cool. I like and respect him quite a lot, and a lot of similar people.

I don't have an amazing job but I spend a lot of time for my passions like learning to draw, programming Python, trying to make hardstyle music and remixes, and things like that. Maybe someday I'll have a job in it. I'm also going for an education in hair dressing and maybe hopefully I'll have some luck there. :3

Well, there's a lot to say about me, but that's a lot already. I didn't get to say much other than what video games and shows and music I like. But that's okay I guess.

You actually sound really cool.

Why not extol your virtues? I don't see any braggadocio in it.

What irritates me mightily is false modesty.

I'm an older guy who doesn't really understand things like Anime too well.....but I'm willing to learn.

My musical tastes leans towards 60-70's music, early jazz, blues, rhythm and blues (the 40's-50's definition), and some synthopop.

Well okay, and thanks for being curious. That makes me feel all special. Wait, do I sound falsely modest. I'm so sorry if I do. ;_;

I don't always talk all that much about some of my believes because I'm afraid I might offend people. I think that might have been why I focused on the kinds of entertainment I like rather than things like sexuality or politics.

But, I tend to value empathy. Maybe that's strange as an autistic person. There are a lot of different definitions of empathy. Perhaps compassion? I like the idea of being kind. Even if many people don't understand me or don't like me as an autistic person or the kind of person I am....

I tend to hold out that compassion is important anyway. And maybe I'm not perfect at it, either. I'm autistic and all of the psychologists I've ever been to have insisted that I am. So maybe my empathy isn't perfect. And I can be very upset with some people. There are a lot of intolerant people.

But I try. And I don't like to see meanness. And I think that comes out in a lot of my philosophies and morals and things like that.
I'm not a very competitive person so I think that leads me to being more leftist. I want people to work to try to help each other. And I'm not sure that I think that competition makes people more innovative or work hard. Why can't people work to help people? I think that people of people would try hard if it would help others. There's so much inequality and it makes me sad. I feel like everyone is wonderful and can do wonderful things. And money is kind of strange to me.

Well, maybe not every single person is wonderful. But I think people are more wonderful than they are treated. I think that being nice is most important. I think people make mistakes and do mean things, but as long as people want to change and want to be nice, that's what matters. We aren't all perfect, but we can all try. And I think optimism and encouraging is the best thing. Maybe I'm a Left Communist? Maybe I'm an Anarchist? Maybe I'm a Socialist? I don't actually know. All I know is that I think that everyone deserves a lot and I think that compassion is the most valuable thing everywhere. Who says that people can't make great technological advancements and other things in the name of compassion? It's scary to use labels, but I tend to think that most people deserve more than they get. And deserve more compassion and better treatment.

This is a little more outside of compassion. But I'm a bit of a transhumanist. I like technology and I really do hope that some radical, wonderful changes can happen for everyone because of it. I don't want to die. And I think and hope there's all sorts of technology than can make life even better than it is today. I guess it's also kind of a stereotype for autistic people to love technology. But I do. And I especially think it's great to see it make people's lives better. I don't know how much I can trust the idea that technology is exponentially growing and will keep getting that much better. But I certainly hope so, and I'm not scared of it. Life is great now, but I think it can get much better. I feel like I'm human as long as I feel like a human. And I'm not afraid of radical change. I tend to be optimistic and thing it's going to be for the better. I think that today is a lot better than 100 years ago.

And the word feminism evokes a lot of controversy. But I really don't like gender roles and gender stereotypes. And I myself don't like conforming to gender roles and even a little bit to gender identity. I may be genderqueer, but I'm not sure. I was raised as a boy, but I don't really like being masculine. I like wearing frilly dresses and being cute. And I'm trying to become more feminine. And I see a lot of people degrade women and femininity in awful ways. Maybe I'm a little bit biased as someone who likes a lot of feminine things. But it definitely doesn't seem like gender equality exists, and that people don't treat women and feminine people equal. Even though I may not completely know what it's been like for many people to be treated as a woman. I don't like the unaccepting attitude people have treated me with when I've been feminine. I think that's one of many things that leads to me sympathizing with feminism.

Oh, well at least you're understanding. That's nice. I'm glad you don't judge me or think ill of me for that.

I don't believe empathy is inconsistent with autism; I believe how one experiences it and conveys it might be different with the Spectrumite.

I happen to believe in most aspects of Feminism. The views of Radical Feminists irritate me, though.

You have to be vigilant in your relations to people, but what I would call "quietly vigilant." One has to give people the benefit of the doubt; but one also has to be on guard somewhat.

When Cynicism rings, it is Death Knell of a person. I've seen how cynicism leads to the wasting of body and of soul.

I believe the best ideology is one which involves "realistic idealism."

I tend to think in rather concrete terms; I have to be prodded to think relatively abstractly--though, in my good moments, I could be decent at thinking abstractly.

I didn't discern any false modesty in you.

I don't mind it if a person writes a lot.

You sound like a truly great person. Don't change!

Also, I see so many women worry about being 'too girly' ... I don't know why. There's nothing cuter than a woman who still has a playful/girly side to her. :)
