It must have come with a new update or something, but I can't really do anything because of it.

I'm fairly sure the name of the site / page I was browsing is supposed to appear on the top of the page, in the menu above all the tabs and whatnot. It's not showing anymore.

Somebody please help? I can't get anything done like this...

Yeah, Mozilla sent out an update that eliminated the title above the tabs. Now page titles only show within the tabs. Sucks, but we're just users and Mozilla has the right to adjust Firefox as they please. I am reluctant to jump ship from Firefox since I'm used to it and it has all my bookmarks.

I've tried googling for some add-ons that would apparently fix the issue, but none of them seem to do exactly what I want. I just really need to be able to tell what page/tab I am on when I'm looking for something (I always open several dozens of tabs, causing my PC to lag).

I'm confused, I have the update and I can tell what page I'm on and also what pages I have open from inside any one page. My title is on the tab itself.

Instead of using FireFox I now use Pale Moon. The Classic Theme Restorer extension didn't cooperate well with all of the addons I had installed, especially the Classic Compact theme I love so much.

Hi,

There's a hidden config window in FireFox where you can 'fix; this.

1) In your address bar, type 'about:config' without the quotes, and hit enter.
2) You'll get a humorous about voiding your warranty (what warranty?!). Dismiss this and continue.
3) You'll then see a huge list of settings, this is effectively looking under the hood of your browser.
4) in the search box at the top of the window, type drawInTitlebar.
5) You'll see a single setting returned called 'browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar'.
6) Double click anywhere on this line to toggle between true and false.
