You're welcome!

And we will continue to build our own positive, respectful, free-wheeling, imperfect community right here at WP. :jester:

At least until the OP says something racist and gets banned.

Hi Guys
Thanks for the replies so far.

The reason why I suspected I was banned (The mods didn't give me a confirmed reason), although I spoke to one, and he said that it was because I posted a post, asking people, what was the funniest name you've ever heard?

and I posted the following names

Long Wang
Long Dong
Mi Long Dong
Phillip Mccracken.

I occasionally do have racial tendencies, however on that occasino, I was trying to be funny, and make people laugh, and not trying to be racist,

I don't see how those names are racist. :?

The funniest name I have heard were:

Niehaus (knee-house)
Colt Takes Horse
Ben Dover
Harry Balz

Also Bart Simpson has done some himself with his prank phone calls he did back in the 90's until they ran out of funny names ideas. If my husband and I had named our daughter Anita it would have been a funny name because of our last name and that would have been setting her up to get teased about it.

Now in only WP had a Facebook platform!

...it does have a facebook group, its just very crap,...

The WrongPlanet Facebook page has apparently been abandoned by the moderator and is full of trolls. It's a waste of time. In fact, worse than nothing.

I had a similar problem when I signed up to a forum for people with Aspergers. The two main moderators took issue with a post I had written. They took the most extreme interpretation of what I said, and made ever more hysterical denunciations of what I wrote (including threats of violence and trawling the internet to dig up dirt on me). Any attempts by me to correct them was seen as further proof of my "bigotry" and was met with even more any. I was eventually ordered to make a "mea culpa" or get banned, and was banned when I continued to argue my case.

I think many people on the spectrum have little power or influence in the real world, and some people revel in the small amount of power that being a moderator gives them. It's quite pathetic and unconstructive really.

I should have realised that something was up when I noticed that most of the threads in the "Activism" section were denouncing feminists!

I'm glad WP has avoided this pitfall, as far as I'm aware anyway!

You could have been more careful though. Many NTs take things literally, so you have to remain calm and relaxed with your jokes. Always assume first that people take things more seriously first, then funny the next. That's why people don't laugh "right away" at jokes unless they know they're at a comedy show or something. They take time to process what you said in their brains. Right? I often face consequences when I do more dark comedy, satires, hidden jokes, or online "trolling". And then those kind of people get you back with their judgmental head and say that making those kind of jokes are a bad thing to do. You have to be disciplined enough to understand when and when you cannot get away with jokes.

If so, go for it, if not, just wait until people get to know you a little better. I'm sure there's the XYZ person who ruined relationships after making so many jokes that they appear, I guess, shady or untrustworthy.

Maybe as I'm getting older, only certain things are still funny to me now. it sucks.

These people sound like complete and utter authoritarian self-hating as*holes who get off on wielding authority with sledgehammers just because they can and who are actually negative against ASD. WHY would you want to be a part of a group with people like that? Count yourself lucky that you dodged a bullet, frankly.

Although I do get what you're saying, these as*holes are supposed to be a group supporting the ASD community and are anything but, in reality. All you can do is what you're already doing, bringing it to the attention of the aspie community and making it as public as you can. And just how old did they think you were, five? Sheesh.
