i like the show/manga because of the mysterious, and dystopia themes. i like many of the characters too. Eren is a much better protagonist than winston from 1984.

any other fans of this series on here?

I watch a lot of anime, and I can fully recall the whole excitement of the series. What I do like was how its popularity seemed to spread more than I expected.

Mikasa, of course, she is awesome. Not really much of a competition as she makes herself one of the most dangerous things on a show full of giants that eat people. She has a dark past, muscles, a wicked scarf and a protective determination.

Levi is fairly close though.

And then Sasha.

I'm a big fan of dystopian and post-apocalyptic themes in books and movies, so this was well worth the watch for me. It's an odd concept but after the first few episodes I really got into it. I was waiting to find out about whatever inner circle there is of people who can transform at will like Erin, and how his dad was involved and so on. I guess that's all revealed in the manga, but I thought I read that there was going to be a movie out this year too...?

This has become one of my favourite series of all time. The opening theme (first one) is my favourite too! It's so exhilarating.
