Very Very Sad. I will always be grateful to her. I would not know who I am in large part due to her work.

am a big of lorna, her daughter was profoundly autistic and she founded the UKs national autistic society to help autistic children, which then went on to help adults as those kids got older, then the organisation grew and grew into the multi disciplinary charity we know and love today.
had named a hand reared chicken of mine after her.
her beloved daughter had died as a adult from drinking to much water, so for those who believe in a heaven am of the belief they will both be back together now.
rest in peace lorna.
