Has anyone made a substantial amount of money buying and selling on Craigs list? Do you think it could be a decent way to supplement income?

I myself am extremely leery of associating with craigslist. It seems like 15-20% of TV judge shows involve people getting ripped off on craigslist. You also hear of numerous assualts and other horror stories being perpetuated on people who post on craigslist. If this is the avenue you choose please proceed with caution.
