Hi,glad to be here, I have known I have Asperger's for some years,I'm nearly 22, at first I resented the diagnosis I tried to pretend I was like others,but lately I've been much more happy about it as it explains so many of my difficulties with people and trying to socialize with them.I wish I could strike up conversation with people my own age without feeling so nervous.

I think the name 'wrong planet' puts it well,I feel in the world but not part of it and often get lonely because I find it so difficult relating with most ordinary people or NT's especially in social situations:(

I think in work it is a bit easier because there is a purpose and reason to be there which the other employees share although I have been bullied at work too for being different and odd.I find structured workplaces best because then I know what is expected of me and everyone has a set job to do.
I hope I can get to know some of you better.

*Grin* Well, my main interest of the moment should be obvious, but my fairly recent interests are, Lost, Battlestar Galactica, D&D, Star Wars, good books (of all sorts), Words (a lifetime fascination), and learning how to cook.
