You have the same song on repeat for three nights in a row.

You rent too many movies from your home region's public library system.

I played the same song for 11 hours of driving when I moved two weeks ago.

I experienced this too many times. But I prefer to see myself not religious but faithful. I am a monoteist. I dont do worship things. But I pray sometimes.

When I was at university, I always forgot the names of students.

But I never forget faces and voices of people, even after a thousand years later.

I do this too.

Because

Every time I listen to it, I listen a different music.

Or

Every time it is listened to, it is listened to by a different person.

You've seen every episode of your favourite TV show 20 times.

She told me that's a really common response from autistic people.
We remember the first people who were "supposed to be" our friends at school.
Then we draw a blank because we don't have other friendships.

I remember my friends from early elementary school, and from middle school, but that's it. I can't come up with anyone that I've been "friends" with since middle school. lol

Me too -- I remember some people from middle school.
The middle school people really hurt me, so I don't think of them as "friends".
The kindergarteners were my "friends", bc I made them Valentines and went to their birthday parties.

Shouts out to Kathy M, Cathy H, Carolyn C, Jane B, Jennifer J, Sandra G, Nicola E, and Penny.

In kindergarten I was "friends" with this allistic girl, who was also the first kid my age that I had a proper interaction with. I later became friends with this autistic/intellectually disabled kid and the one girl stopped talking to me, and then I eventually became friends with another allistic girl that was picking on me at first. lol

I had maybe two or three "real" friends in middle school, the others were friends of my friends and they picked on me a lot for being socially inept.

You are mocked by any distant relative (in my case my two bigoted uncles) who believe that the spectrum isn't real and that you are making it all up.

Is there such a thread here on Wrong Planet? :?

Anyway, getting back onto topic, you might be an Aspie if teachers during your adolescent years saw you as an easy target for intimidation because they believed your social awkwardness was a just reason to made you feel as if you had no place in the student population of your school.
