WD-40 happens to be a favourite product of mine! :thumright:

2/ Cleans metal (e.g., stove drip pans) - spray on then scrape w/ razor

3/ Removes sticky adhesive residue from hard surfaces

4/ WD-40 is flammable! Yes, it can work as a fire starter in a pinch. Caveat: Never try this at home (although I've done it, but never mind). Note: See tip #2 8O

Next?

Yes, and WD-40 comes with a convenient straw so it can be precisely directed to any given thingy.

WD is an acronym for water displacement. I know WD-40 mostly includes aliphatic hydrocarbons in a petroleum base, but the formula is a trade secret.

WD-40 alternate use Number 9/ spray on shovel so snow/ice won't stick.

WD-40 mis-use Number 10/ as an insect killer - spray on bugs (except spiders, because I'm rather partial to spiders and let them outside).

11 - as a manly cologne.
Smells like well lubricated machines, and a bit lemony.

Noooo! :pale:

Seriously, WD-40 will irritate your skin (although I kind-of agree it smells nice).

12.) One miss-use of WD40 is to use it as a flame thrower. just aim the can, hold a flame in front of it, and spray.

WARNNING: Doing this is very dangerous. Don't do this unless you know exactly what your doing.

You probably know already but don't use WD-40 on a Rubik's cube, it can dissolve the plastic! But silicone spray is fine. :D

It was also the "40th attempt" at creating a water displacement substance hence the 40... :)
