Can you net a prize like that or do you have to actually have the tickets with the winning numbers on them? Either way, it would provide the opportunity of proving the point (if it worked). Just that it would be nice to become financially secure into the bargain.

You must have a winning ticket to collect the prize.

Which brings up a valid point: If people posting in this thread are so good a predicting the future, then why have none of them won the lottery?

Lottery results are no more likely to show up than any other data. These folks have receivers, but no search function.

I have heard this "No Selectivity" excuse before.

It is as if their alleged predictive abilities were no better than random guesswork.

Doesn't have to be about the lottery or lucrative, that would just be a nice additional spinoff and would be very convincing if it worked because the chance of fortuitously guessing such a long string of digits correctly is vanishingly small.

Joke all you want, but if surgery had the same success rate as precognition, no one would go to the hospital.

Oh.  Were they really trying to be funny?  I mean, really?

Gee . . . I hope I did not hurt their feelings by not laughing.

I'm sure you didn't. Not exactly the point. The question is why are you taking lighthearted comments seriously?

Maybe you should ask the psychologists who diagnose people as being on the ASD spectrum . . .
