I have already been to a doctor and will be going back next week.

I am becoming concerned.

For the past 9 days I have had fatigue, loss of appetite, and a fever that becomes worse at night.

I have never had a fever for more than a few days.

I am concerned this is more than a viral infection.

Has anyone had a viral infections with symptoms like mine lasting two weeks.

I believe, but not certain I got it from a sandwich.

Do go to your doctor, but yes, it is possible to have a viral infection that lasts several weeks. There is a nasty cold like virus going around where I live, it lasts 6+ weeks.

It sounds very similar to what I went through the first two weeks before I was diagnosed with mono about eight years ago.

There's a very long lasting cold virus going around where I live which I have and have had for several weeks (I've lost count). My mum has it too and some other staff at her school. Still, yes, see a doctor and just make sure you're okay.

I am the OP.

I do not have any congestion, runny nose, or sore throat.

Can I still have a virus?

Yes you can still have an infection. Some people have infections for years, be it an active one, or one that's dormant, but it is still an infection.
