What song do you really relate to? For me it is Five Miles Out by Mike Oldfield

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KVCslxOMjo

Five Miles Out
Vocals: Mike Oldfield and Maggie Reilly

falling, falling

What do you do when your falling you've got 30 degrees and your
stalling out
And its 24 miles to the beacon there's a crack in the sky and the
warnings out

Don't take that dive again
Push through that band of rain

Five miles out
Just hold your heading true
Got to get your finest out
Your number 1 anticipating you

Climbing out
Just hold your heading true
Got to get your finest out
Your number 1 anticipating you

Mayday, Mayday, Mayday
Calling all stations
This is Golf Mike Oscar Victor Juliet
IMC CU.NIMB.ICING
In great difficulty
Over

The traffic controller is calling
Victor Juliet your identity
I have lost in the violet storm
Communicate or squawk emergency

Don't take that dive again
Push through that band of rain

Lost in Static 18
And the storm is closing in now
Automatic 18 - Got to push through - Trapped in living hell

Your a prisoner of the dark sky
The propeller blades are still
And the evil eye of the hurricane's
Coming in now for the kill

Our hope's with you - Rider in the blue

Welcomes waiting, We're anticipating
You'll be celebrating, when you're down, and breaking

Climbing out - climbing climbing
Five miles out - climbing climbing

Five miles out
Just hold your heading true
Got to get your finest out
Climbing Climbing

Five miles out
Just hold your heading true
Got to get your finest out
Climbing Climbing

Climbing out
Just hold your heading true
Got to get your finest out
Climbing Climbing

Five miles out
Just hold your heading true
Got to get your finest out
Climbing Climbing

Climbing out
Just hold your heading true
Got to get your finest out

A few years ago I dreamt I asked God (!??) what my theme song was and a song started playing in my dream. It was The Beatles "Yellow submarine". I´ve since then tried to find some sort of hidden profound message in the lyrics but...no.
I´d much rather have Bowies "Heroes" as my theme song!!

If I had to choose any two theme songs, it'd be Paint it Black for my down moments, and Clash on the Big Bridge for my positive moments....

Personally, I consider mine to be At least I'm known for Something by Newfound Glory

'Cause I'm best know for failure!
Best known for giving up!
There's nothin' that I could say that could matter, that could matter enough!

If I chose a more lighthearted song, it'd be Snow (Hey oh) by the Chillis. The nice and sombre 'Hey oh, listen what I sayo' sounds like an Aspie message somehow.

I don't know, but it would have to have something to do with cats.

Hmm, I have several (depending on mood and phase of my life), so many in fact that I had a who side of a tape with them back in the day.
The 4 most prominant (sp?) are:
"It's a Sin" by the Pet Shop Boys
"Getting Closer" by Billy Joel
"Self Control" by Laura Brannigan
"Opportunities" by Pet Shop Boys
