Could you suggest places where i can go and practice conversational skills? Besides parties and get togethers, i need an environment with strangers where it is acceptable to start a conversation. I finished school, and job isnt an option right now, so there goes two of the most obvious answers. Be it classes, hobby groups or whatever - it needs to be a place where i have many "guinea pigs" to practice on
What do you say? I only got the bus and maybe the gym.

Grocery store checkout - you have to buy groceries so might as well chat with the cashier. Most of them seem happy to chat with customers, probably beacuse the job can be a bit monotonous I'm guessing.
Cahsiers at other stores as well. It's easy not to say much to a cashier but most of them do seem willing to engage in a short converstaion as long as they aren't too busy.

You might have to join something - as you suggested maybe a class (how about an evening class in something for fun that you like: cooking, photography, etc.) or a hobby group in something of interest.
Would get you talking with other people about something you like and are interested in.
