What kind of philosophy do you like most? Right now at least.

I'm into the occult philosophy. Not magic but more philosophy and how to evolve.

I'll go with Robert E. Howard's Conan the Barbarian: "I live and slay, and am content."

I am Jewish and I can tell you the Kaballah is as useless as teats on a bull.

Couple things you might like:

Franz Bardon's 'Initiation Into Hermetics' - albeit look over the Amazon reviews first and get familiar with whose used it/what results they've gotten; the material's somewhat gruffly/inelegantly conveyed so it helps to know how well it's been rated by it's users. Rawn Clark wrote 'A Bardon Companion' (free pdf) as a user's guide and William Mistele is an IIH graduate also who wrote a couple books about his contacts with elemental entities through use of his second book PME.

If you're up for radio shows - Blogtalk.com has a weekly radio show by Carroll 'Poke' Runyon called The Hermetic Hour. I don't know if you're still out in Los Angeles but as far as I know his Temple of Astarte lodge is located in Pasadena.

Now only tell that to Madonna and other non-Jewish fans of the Kabbalah.
