They don't make many slip on shoes I like so that is why I made my own. The wire is just out of an alarm cable used black to match shoes but there are many other colors too

actually, most people don't seem to notice the wire on his shoes....

The only person I know who notices shoes is my wife,kar. She finally accepts [not likes]the fact that I only wear boots [hiking, work, steel toes etc]. I still like the wire idea. Why don't you patent "shoe wires " and make some money "They come come in a variety of colors and lengths. I'll even buy a pair for my camping boots if thay are rustproof.
