How do they intend to make a series out of this? It doesn't seem like something that adapts well to television, unless it's going to follow a movie-esque plot that goes more in-depth.

maybe they could have him become a travelling singer in a metal band "ash and the deadites"
solving mysteries on the road scooby doo style
