I started a new job earlier this wee and seem to be getting along pretty well with everyone. They're all pretty friendly. Alot of them are friends with each other on Facebook and I was wondering if it is appropriate to friend request them. If it is too soon, when would be an ok time to do that?

Don't see a problem with friend requests of your co-workers, as many workplaces share social networking amongst co-workers. Just be very careful what you post because it will all go back to your workplace including any negative posts you post about your employer.

I wouldn't do this. Office politics can turn ugly quickly, and your "work friends" can use something personal they found about you on Facebook to their advantage.
