my roommate is nice but whenever we are in a group, he never looks at me and acts like i dont exist.

then when this guy was over at my room and showing me things, he was very rude to him and was very sarcastic in a mean way.

he hangs out with people and never invites me and always leaves me out of things

I've had people behave like this who are maybe supposed to be 'friends', but I'm not sure how the situation differs when the person is your roommate. It still sucks. Maybe someone who has experience of roommates doing this will come and comment...
