Just wondering what looks better on me: long hair or short hair?

Right now I have the long hair, and it's about halfway to the length I want. I was going for a Leon S Kennedy-like look (Google him if you're unfamiliar), basically a long bangs short back look. Personally I like it, but it's the girls I'm trying to impress. My Co worker said I looked like Cameron Diaz from There's Something About Mary, but he's an ass so whatever. If I cut it I was thinking of just cutting the sides and leaving the top long. What do you think?

I think you suit the shorter style better.

You're probably right, I should go for that high top look that's in style now. Plus, my long hair takes way more maintenance. My hair does not like to stay straight and I have to use hair glue to make it behave. That makes it feel like hay which I don't like. That or I flat iron it but I can never get the results I want.

OP looks fine either way, though a happy medium [not military short nor rockstar long] would be nice :)

Heh, that's honestly where I find I'm the least self conscious about my hair.

You're about the only person who's said to keep it long, because I've asked other people.

I'm interested as to how I remind you of yourself, which also makes me wonder if you are male or female.

I think it looks better short, but the picture in the long haired one was a bit stretched, so I couldn't get an accurate reading.

Yeah, WP went super weird on resizing the picture, it is fixed now.

BUT HEY. I got a haircut (reason I was asking!). Kept the top long, and had the sides and back trimmed up.

I can grow it back this winter, nobody will see my hair for months anyways (hardcore toque person).

I'm slightly confused; do you mean my facial hair or the hair that grows on my side? The latter likes to grow frustratingly curly, but some hair glue fixes that.

I think I'll try growing it out again over the winter, when people won't see my hair often. maybe by then my hair will be at length...or not.

if you are one of the fortunately manly types with actual side-face-hair, then sideburns, or if you are one of the fortunately head-hairy types with thick side head hear then you can grow faux burn down in front of your ears. my hair is down my back in a pony tail but i cannot grow appreciable facial hair to save my life.
