I work at a grocery store that has been jerking me around for the year I've been working here, especially now when they've been having me start at 3 am and then switched me suddenly to daytime work. I just got hired as a delivery driver at a pizza place, so now I'm wondering how long is it worth it to keep the job that I hate while I get adjusted to the new job. I changed my available hours at the grocer, so they probably already know that something is up.

ONLY you can answer this question.
I don't think it's been studied yet so I doubt there is any mathematical formula for predicting outcomes based on discontinuation time-lines of implied employment contracts.

Personally I reckon that staying in a job you hate is worse than not having one at all.
