'Survival of the species' is a basic fundamental of evolution. ........ Where do you get that it's a fallacy?

Because it is, here are a few pages on it. The "Selfish Gene" Richard Dawkins, explains the mechanisms well. Evolution revolves around the survival of genes no matter which species they occur in. In fact evolution can result in the demise of a species.

Natural Selection Myths

Gene survival

Evolution causing extinction

Then there may be more to it

Gene Expression

Epigenetics

But whatever the case it would appear "survival of the species has little to do with it.

Epigenetics may explain how certain "morals" are seen as Objective.

Thanks for the links!! I'll enjoy reading them. And despite his almost arrogant demeanor, I like Dawkins and his writings. :)
