Perhaps we shall rent Versailles, like Certain People did, but only if Marie Antoinette will show up.....preferably with her head!

What about her husband, Louis XVI? And make sure Emperor Napoleon doesn't take over!

Sorry I'm a bit late to the party Kyle.

Congratulations!

Are all of the people ahead of you still active, or might you overtake them?

Thanks, Moomingirl!

The five in front of me are CockneyRebel, Cornflake, Ten PencePiece, Tim_Tex, and TallyMan.

Only two of them are really still active now. I haven't seen Ten and Tim much lately. TallyMan is taking a break last time I checked. I should be able to pass those three, but I'm not sure if I can overtake Cornflake. There's no way I'll pass CockneyRebel's count, his is more than double mine. He's one of the original members and is still very much active.

Thanks for the info. I need to know these things.

My husband thinks it's hysterical when they say things on the news like 'it is the third biggest country' and then don't proceed to tell us what the top two are. It drives me wild!

third biggest country...i've wondered if it's china or the usa that's bigger. different sources say chat china is bigger and vice versa! do they count macau and HK as part of china? do they count claimed and disputed lands and waters? is taiwan part of the PRC or an independent country?

how about the usa, some count water areas and unincorporated areas and some don't! some only count the land areas of the 50 states, and there's national bias too of course and inconsistency!
