You are 18 and own 2 companies?

And you are looking for jobs?

I don't understand.

Hi, skibum! How are you? I've seen you around a lot. Let's be friends.

Ok, now to the O.P.....
Ummmmm. I don't get it. What is it you want now? Are your two companies profitable? Or are they vanity projects? Why would you want to enlist in the armed services?

If you have an Autism Spectrum Disorder (with disability) then unless you are going to go in to decipher codes, you simply can't qualify. That's the way it works.

I'm confused what it is you are asking and what it is you really want. I think there is a deeper question at work here. You ought to ask it.

Removing the label does not change the fact that you have autism, unless you think you don't have it and that the first diagnosis was wrong. Are you capable of living independently? I think that would be an important thing to be able to do if you're going to join the army.

You seem quite capable of living independently. How about you just ignore the diagnosis and pretend you're normal with a minor learning disability. Hope you have a good career in the army.

AFAIK, in the UK you're not allowed to join the armed forces if you're diagnosed autistic. Not sure about other countries though.

Anyway, to the OP, there's no reason to attempt to challenge your diagnosis, unless you think it is incorrect. Instead, be glad the government recognizes it and is willing to help you out; there are many aspies out there who are either undiagnosed or are simply ignored by the system, who could use help.

This. Get re-assessed and say you doubt you have Asperger's. If they find that you do not meet the diagnostic criteria for it, they will remove this label from your records.

Mild autistic disorder not aspergers.

Right, whatever it is, they will remove this label if you don't meet the criteria. Sorry I read this thread yesterday but am responding today so didn't remember this detail.

The diagnoses aren't the issue, it's the condition itself.

You've already had it explained to you that you are probably not suitable for the army due to your sensory issues and poor social skills. Whilst I was trying to find that thread, I found multiple posts by you admitting to violence towards the police and care workers. If you have a tendency towards violence as well as sensory issues, then you're not going to do well with a gun in your hands whilst things explode around you.

The best way you can "serve this country" is by helping your businesses flourish, not by killing people overseas.

I'm curious if entry into armed forces, navy or air-force is restricted or limited based on a diagnosis?

I'm curious about this one. Does it mean that you are 'institutionalized' in some way? (with all respect)
How much are caregivers involved? What they do to help you?

Why are you looking for a job if you own companies?
