Aspies in West Yorkshire, North England (UK)

I was diagnosed nearly 2 months ago with AS, however I am desperate for a friend who I can relate to in the sense that they understand what living with Aspergers is like. I am having real difficulty accepting my condition, so I figured perhaps making a friend who also has it would help me.

Nonetheless, If no one from West Yorkshire on this wants to be my friend then I'd be happy to have a virtual friendship with others who are not living in my area. I am 16 (17 in November) and currently studying A Levels in Government and Politics, Law, Sociology and English Language.

I live in the north west of England (Manchester) I am 16 and am studying AS level politics, history, sociology and psychology. I too was diagnosed recently (well, I was apparently diagnosed years ago but I only found out recently when my dad kindly blurted it out in an argument and has ever since used it as a "you are wrong, I am right" button whenever we disagree on something).
