I read that most autistics and aspies are left handed so I was wondering
Which one are you???
I'm left handed

I am left-handed as far as writing, drawing, and painting, and crocheting goes and those sorts of fine-detail things. I can cut with my right, tend to use my left for eating, but can use either. I am right-eyed as well (this is the eye with which you tend to use to look through small holes like a fence or a microscope).

I voted for being right-handed, but I've noticed that when I eat with utensils, I tend to be able to use both hands to handle forks and knives with equal ability....anyone else notice this?

I'm right-handed---but I might have been converted from left-handed.

Darn those deprogrammers of lefties! Were you taken from the left-hand ashram to a nearby motel and forced to play the guitar right handed for a few weeks? Hehe. :D

I am mostly ambidextrous, but only for certain functions. I write right-handed, but can do other things only with my left hand.

I choose to use my right hand, but can use my left hand just as well. So, I'm ambidextrous.

Right-handed, all the way. Trying to write with my left hand is an absolute disaster.

I can do everything with both hands but I'm slower and less flexible in drawing and writting with my right hand so I voted as being left handed

You should have put cross-dominant as an option. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-dominance

I selected right because that's what I use for most things. However, there are some tasks I can only do with my left hand.

I don't know if it's true most uties/aspies are left-handed. I am, but so are both my parents, and I know my grandfather on my mom's side is left-handed at least. That whole "Most auties are left-handed" sounds like some real "right-hander research" nonsense to me. I read how lefties were once always treated like sub-human, how it's even linked to all kinds of illnesses, disorders, and even a shorter life span. They might as well put on my gravestone "Here lies (my real name), she was left-handed".
Although there's been a lot more positive stuff about lefties in recent years, like how we're apparently more creative, artistic and unconventional because our right-brain is dominate. Seems to be true in my case. I use my left hand for drawing and writing but I can use my right hand for other things if I have to. I apparently am also good at handwriting for a leftie, as I was once told, even though I have the problem with ink or pencil smearing. For years when someone's seen me draw or write something for the first time their first reaction is "Oh! You're left-handed!" I think next time I hear that I'll add sarcastically "Yes, and you know what else? I can feed and dress myself in spite of it, too!"

Interesting about cross-dominance. Didn't know there was a name for such a thing. I just thought everyone was like that. I guess I could be cross-dominant, but have identified as left-handed as that is the one I write with.
