Got Appointed to County Planning Commission.

I got appointed to the Environment & Natural Resources Commission. For a little bit I thought they forgot about me. Next up, county education board or county commission. They meet once a month, and I get to talk with people on the county commission board, so that will help me decide if I want to run or not. Worse comes to worse, it will look good on a resume. Now all I am wondering is what I will control, and how much control I will have over things. Any one else ever get elected/appointed to a public office?

congratulations you are a rising star and are going places in life to answer your question, "anyone get elected"? I would say I have about as much chance of that as my cat would in flying a plane. I suspect in America, one must be at least middle class [and pass for NT] before they can rise to politics.
