I love "impractical jokers"!
When my wife and I are at a fancy restaurant with an acoustic guitar player that asks for requests I always request,
www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlVe-rZBcm4
(in a gadda da vida)
When at the supermarket and I am about to pay for a lot of food and some toilet paper, I ask,"excuse me, is this enough toilet paper for this much food?"
Is this an aspie thing or am I just nuts? :D

I'm always saying inappropriate things on my job.

I like to say "I am the Wolfman!" while walking the halls.

To know me, you should keep in mind that I'm a "court jester."

As a kid, I listened to "In-A-Gadda-Vida" by Iron Butterfly a considerable amount. They rarely play it on the 60s station on Sirius, Alas!

I just think it is you trying to step out of your aspie shell temporarily to see what sort of reaction you get.
I would consider it social experimentation.

I don't think it's an aspie thing, rather your just talented. The toilet paper joke was hilarious. You must have the cashier in stiches.

If you walk past me and say that I will start clapping because......

....I always Clap For The Wolfman.

At some point wittgenstein may be rewarded by somebody who can actually play "Ina Gadda Da Vida" on an acoustic guitar. With any luck they will sing along too!

I continue to have traumatic flash backs to the multitude of stupendouslys stupid things I have said in my life

I cower under a blanket of shame that rains on me from time to time

I say unbelievably stupid things at times. Afterwards it's like why the hell did I just say that.

I actually do not do this type of thing. When it is done at or with me, I tend to become uncomfortable...

I try my best to avoid saying inappropriate things. I'm very self-conscious about people's impression of me and feel bad if I give off the wrong impression.

Said a real boneheaded one just two days ago. I won't go into details.

Yeah, I would be uncomfortable too if asked something like if the amount of toilet paper suited the amount of food. I don't see the point of saying stuff like that.

I can like pushing buttons at times, but not like that. It would just be embarrassing. If I had been with someone who had said so, I would have wanted the ground to open up and swallow me.
Being inappropriate isn't my kind of fun. Nor would the kind of jokes I've seen mentioned in this thread occur to me in the first place.

It's not so much about liking saying them -- it's knowing that if I keep opening my mouth throughout the day inappropriate things WILL come out. What I like is when I'm with people I know I don't have to worry about being inappropriate around.

I say pretty nasty weird stuff that no one but me hears. I wonder if it's like a Tourette syndrome thing. It worries me some because I'm afraid I'll start doing it out loud some day. That would be just awful if involuntary profanity was the only talking I did :(

I say incredibly stupid things some times during conversations, then I feel terrible later.
