Does anyone chew on different objects? For me ever since I was younger I would chew on different objects. (Mainly plastic items.)

I'm bad for chewing pen caps. I also used to chew pencils, and I occasionally chew pens and plastic pop bottle caps as well. When I was younger I'd also chew on the knees of my jeans for some reason, which would irritate my mother since they would develop holes. If I was wearing a hoodie with drawstrings, you could guarantee I'd chew those too. When I was really young, I even chewed some of my lego!

I'm not as destructive with my plastic chewing habit now as I was years ago, though it still perplexes me as to why I do it. I guess it just kinda feels nice.

I went through that phase when I was 7. It was a form of stimmming for me. I ruined a lot of polo shirts.

I am similar to Bigmouth. I chew on things--but I don't destroy them (except, occasionally, pens).

Only the scenery, and only when the Director isn't looking.

Maybe that's why I'm the way I am today LOL

I used to chew "lead" pencils down to the "lead" section.

Reading your title made me realize that I currently have a safety pin in my mouth. So... yes.

I used to while I was in school, I would chew on the ends of pens and when I was younger on toys. I have no idea why.

I find myself chewing on straws and water bottles from time to time nowadays too.

I do, but most of the time it is food... which is not good for weight. Right now, I always have to have a bag of sunflower seeds with me and I go through those so fast. Any suggestions for switching from food to actual objects? I've tried gum but as soon as the flavor wears out (20 min) then I throw it out.

I chewed on my own arm when I was younger. It always left these ugly red marks. I'm glad that I stopped.

As a child I would suck and chew my shirts, later was pencils (not near eraser).

Straws, silverware, candy, inside of my cheeks, tough gum and my hand...

I did this when I was younger as well, and I still do it from time to time when no one else is around.
