I'm not usually a gamer, but I'm quite addicted to this one. Does anyone else play it? I just got to Megaton and disarmed the atom bomb in the center of town.

Speaking of Fallout...bethesda is probably gonna announce fallout 4 soon, its already been years since their last game.

Though they will probably need some new features to punch it through and build the hype... I'm thinking vehicles...massive deserts that you can have high speed battles on in between cities...and you can store the loot you find in the trunk of your vehicle... native occulus rift support...droool.

But yea, there's nothing more awesome than playing fallout 3 for the first time, you're utterly blown by the scope of the game, and exploring the ruined cities and underground tunnels is mega exciting that first time, I beat the game several times by now and I can only distantly remember that feeling... makes me sad :(

if they are working on fallout 4 which they won't say, it seems it is years away. they are more focused on other games and I fear if they do get around to it , it'l be stupid like elder scrolls online. people love their games for what they are single play fantastic open world open story games.

lent my fallout 3 to a friend and never got it back. can't play it on ps4 anyways :(

I used to play Fallout 3 on PS3 and it was really fun, I have it on pc with the dlc but I haven't felt like playing it. I hope theres a new Fallout but equally I really like Elder Scrolls so its tough lol.

I'm a fan of Fallout 3, and Bethesda games in general. Fallout New Vegas is even better than Fallout 3, in my opinion, but Fallout 3 is still really good.

I'm a "fan" I suppose, but then again, I enjoy most post-apocalyptic things, so it comes as no surprise. I wouldn't say I just like F3 though, I have quite some appreciation for the entire series and the universe it is set in.

I did enjoy New vegas a bit more, but F3 was awesome either way. Wasn't too fond of the Mothership zeta DLC though; it felt a bit out of place. The Pitt was amazing though and Point lookout :D

Fallout 3 is pretty good. I reccommend New Vegas with the expansions!

Also, morrowwind and skyrim are ub3r 1337

Yeah, I prefer single player games like Skyrim and Fallout:New Vegas to any online MMO stuff they make. I don't want Elder Scrolls Online, I want Elder Scrolls 6!! !! !

I agree completely. Morrowind is one of my favorite games ever. I found New Vegas somewhat better than Fallout 3. And now I'm replaying Skyrim again. One thing I don't like though is that in the newer games all dialogue has to be voiced, so it is often limited to fewer lines than a game like Morrowind. There were so many people in Morrowind who could be asked about just any topic, and they could give long rants on the Tribunal Temple and what they thought of it. This isn't really possible anymore in the age of 100% voice-acted dialogue.

Fallout 3 beats New Vegas, the atmosphere, pacing and storyline in Fallout 3 is amazing.

New Vegas starts slow and ends quickly, Fallout 3 puts you right in the action in Vault 101.

I found the graphics and factions better as well, super mutants and the brotherhood versus casino mobsters and the army.

They didn't develop Elder scrolls online, this has been mentioned many times.

I know how you feel, the first time I played Fallout or Skyrim, I was blown away, literally blown away.

I know it was developed by another studio. The "they" was just generic.. Anyway, Bethesda is probably developing TES6, but haven't announced it yet. I'm really curious what province(s) we'll see next time.

I agree that the start/tutorial of Fallout 3 was amazing. I felt Dad was a really likeable character and the main quest had good pacing. I didn't like the awful maze of DC though with the annoying subway things. I preferred the stat system of New Vegas over F3 as well. They left out the damage threshhold in F3, and they gave way too many stat points and perks. New Vegas felt closer to the original two Fallout games to me. New Vegas also had multiple endings/factions to choose from, when F3 only had two I think (poison everyone, or win the game and go on to the expansion). Btw, the first Fallout game also had a "loser" ending in a way, you could go with a super mutant and end up dumped in the vats. That was the first Fallout 1 "ending" I saw because I thought I'd go on as a super mutant. 8)

I also slightly preferred the NV music to the F3 music, and it was a bit more cowboy/western-themed somehow. And Mr House. I think both games are good but I prefer NV over F3.
And about the ending quickly: maybe you are right about that. I found myself looking for side quests and other stuff to because I didn't want to end it yet. I do the same in Skyrim. You could finish the game really fast if you wanted to. Still, not as bad as Fallout 1. There are speedruns on the interwebs and I even did one myself (though not as fast as the internetdwellers).
