My bi-yearly eye exam is next Tuesday. I've been wearing bi-focals for more than 20 months now. I wonder how my check-up will go; the bi-focals are more of a nuisance than a helper - I rarely come across fine print and they cause a blurry and double-vision image.
I let my vision deteriorate several years ago when I didn't go for a bi-yearly exam, skipping two years. I tried my pairs of spare glasses that had different prescriptions. For two days I blinked constantly, actually enjoying the "light show" when I looked at the Christmas tree. Staff told me to get out of it and I stuck with one pair of glasses.
First I have to see how much snow there will be when I go to the exam.
