So I'm newly diagnosed , and have been trying to avoid using food to calm myself
What other things work ?like when at a store to make a return and the guy says he's doing me a favor refunding me for open ink.
It's defective! It's the law to take it back(. The box said it fit my printer, but only after it was opened could I tell it was not going to fit!)
I just said yes I get it, your doing me a favor, ( though I don't get it)
Walked away mad, even though I got my money back
I stay mad a long time ! And have trouble de stressing

Yeah, a lot of the time I just go with it, and I try and do breathing exercises to calm down. Just know that you don't have to know everything, you can't control people, so it's just easier to go with it to make them happy, and try and realize this isn't a big deal. Also maybe exercise or get into a sport. I release all my anxiety and anger at the gym, over time you'll atleast have a nice body :)

I find a walk in the park does wonders to calm me down. As the above poster said a breathing exercise works wonder or you can use something to play with in your pocket to distract yourself.
