i dreamt i was in my tin can late at night, a raging hurricane was rocking the place, and trying to duck my living room door open, i had to hold it closed. finally in the early dark gray morning, when the winds died down, i ventured outside to find a big mess, my porch collapsed and stuff was all over the place. then, i dreamt i was in a light-colored room, light carpeting, light walls and ceiling, but no windows. a slender athletic amazon woman with close-cropped albino hair and skin, wearing beige-colored crepey form-fitting clothing, kept asking me if i wanted to have sex with her, and she gave me come-hither looks and posed suggestively. then i awoke.

I dreamt that my sister was having an argument with my girlfriend in the middle of what appeared to be a desert. I was tied to a chair, so I couldn't do anything about it other than obviously watch. Also, my mouth was taped shut, so I couldn't speak.

My sister and my girlfriend intensified the stakes with my sister shouting stereotypes at my girlfriend with one factor being my girlfriend having blonde hair.

"Oh look at you, look at you! Not so smart now, are you?! Dating my brother and all that crap!"

However, my girlfriend's brother (yes, you read that right) appeared before them and intervened. It didn't work because my sister punched him in the face, knocking him unconscious.

My sister approached my girlfriend and punched her in the face knocking her unconscious.

"Good luck trying to win me and our mom over dummy!"

The dream ended with my sister noticing a can of Diet Coke in my girlfriend's purse. She sat on the desert floor, took a sip, looked at my unconscious girlfriend, then at me. She said to me, "Bro, now that is a real double standard!"

Then I woke up.

i dreamt i was back at work but i was simultaneously back in the army back in the day, existing in two time frames at one time. i was working in a civilian hospital Labor & Delivery ward as a civilian, and going home to army barracks as an army specialist. one day in the dream i had to set up a delivery room for a c-section, only thing is when the patient came in, the surgeons determine she was not ready, so they wheeled her out, and as soon as i cleaned up and reset the room i retreated quickly to my barracks and took a quick nap, then awoke with a start that i wasn't supposed to go AWOL from duty, so i tried hastily to put on my uniform but everything was inside out and upside down and refused to be put on, and all the while i was worrying that i'd be fired from my civil service job and busted back to full-time army.

i dreamt i was swallowing some capsules without water, they had the quasi-feathered "cock" of a badminton shuttlecock, but attached to one end of each capsule, that helped 'em fly down my throat when i swallowed them without water chasing 'em down.

That sounds incredibly uncomfortable.

luckily the sensations were muted in this dream. it was the opposite of lucid.

I was in the community hall in the village that I grew up in. There were a lot of people and they seemed to be having a party with drinks and stuff. I kept hearing a voice mentioning odd jobs people could take to earn a little money, such as mowing someone's lawn. Naturally I was not interested in doing such labor, even if I got paid, so I left. I knew no one would have a job for someone who can draw cartoons like I do.

Then suddenly I found myself in an unfamiliar building where there were tons of people. There were so many of them I could barely move or see anything. They had their hands in the air and seemed to be cheering for someone or something. All I wanted to do was get out of there, so after pushing my way out I saw a stage and some guy who was an evangelist came out. I said out loud, "What is this place? A church? A place of worship? I'm getting out of here!", and then I thought "Oh no, now they're going to come after me for being an eeevil atheist", but they didn't and I got out. And *then* I found myself in another building, or a different part of the one I was in. It was like a gym where was some kind of game playing and it was very loud.

I also remember petting a couple of dogs that looked horribly mutated but were friendly.

I actually remembered my dream last night. I was lost from my sister and a few other people I was traveling with (but I have no idea where we were). I was at a place I'd been to before in other dreams. It's a quaint area with a bunch of shops and cafes. My phone wouldn't work, so I couldn't call anyone to see where they were. I didn't panic, I just walked around and hoped I'd bump into someone I knew. There were a lot of people there, it was a sunny and warm day. I wandered into a vintage shop I found, and I talked to the woman who was in there, she was nice. We talked about how we both liked 1960s dresses. I thought her items were overpriced, but I didn't tell her that. I left and went back to where I apparently had been staying, although I didn't remember until this part. It was kind of like a bed-and-breakfast place. I found the group of people I knew. We hung out and I eventually left. I also found a male companion (I can't remember who he was though) and we walked by a restaurant where this meal or something was $2 and he was excited by it but I whined because I wanted to go somewhere else (typical :P).
Woke up shortly after.

This was by far the most normal dream I've ever had, which makes it weird. And it wasn't even that anxiety-ridden either, which is normally what my dreams are.

I had a dream this morning about dreaming.

In the dream, I was a participant in some kind of dream study institute where they were testing a way to give you the dream you wanted. I chose the "Heather Locklear" option.

Unfortunately, the guy across the hallway in the study chose the "drunken frat boy" option. Every time my dream started to get even the least bit interesting, he'd start yelling and banging on the walls and generally making all kinds of noise and wake me up.

^^^that is a FASCINATING dream :star:

i dreamt i was in my tin can, the sky darkened outside, the winds picked up, and then a skinny but tall tree gave way and fell hard onto my house. then while i was soaking up the situation, i started hearing a deep rumble, then a sharp jolt of an earthquake knocked my tin can off its foundations and everything inside was wrecked. i struggled to squeeze through a hallway crumpled by the earthquake, when i awoke. :o

That IS interesting.

It reminds me of a joke.

An obese British guy was at his wits end about how to loose weight. So he went to his doctor. The doctor checked him out. And then gave him some prescription pills. Told the guy to "just take them once before you go to bed, after several weeks you will be guaranteed to loose weight".

The guy was skeptical, but did as the doc said.

On the first night he took the pills before going to bed he had a vivid dream that he was a castaway lying on the beach of a tropical island. The bushes rustle, and out from the palm tree comes a lovely young exotic island maiden. So the guy gets excited and starts to chase the girl. He chases her for hours but never catches her. He woke up covered with sweat. He continued taking the pills. And each night he would have the same dream. And sure enough within weeks the physical exertion on his body caused by the dream had melted his fat away.

He told a friend about "these amazing pills the doctor gave me". So his equally obese friend goes to the same doctor, and also gets a prescription.

This second guy eagerly pops his first pill just before going to bed. He too dreams that he is a castaway lying on the beach of a tropical island. He hears a rustle in the bushes. He turns around. But instead of see a comely native maiden he sees a group of angry cannibal warrior men with bones through their noses, brandishing spears and shields. The guy runs in terror as the angry natives chase him...and chase him...and chase him...for hours.

He wakes up covered in sweat.

The next day he goes back to the doctor, angry, and tells the doctor "I don't want these pills. I want the ones that give you the girl".

The doctor says "I am sorry. I cant give you those pills. Your friend gets them because he is one of my private practice patients. you're one of my National Health Service patients."

Went for a nap for a while, because I literally got nothing much to do except spend that time.

So I did went for a nap... It was no more than 3 hours long.
Dreamed I was in this parallel realm, I think. Dreamed of playing video games on an old handheld system, watching some anime I forgot what tittle or what is about, and visiting the parallel version of my mom's workplace.

Occassionally visiting this parallel world that seems so familiar in my waking life yet things are different there. It's not the first time I ever dreamed of that world.
I keep recalling that everything seems so wide and bigger there, as if most of the architectures is made based of some badly planned creative mode buildings in some games, and the buildings are mainly far apart from another.
The vehicles there were like assembled from some metal chopshop but are functional. Most places I've viewed so far, there's little to tell and it stretches as far as I could see. There's just nothing but the horizon and any existing roads, there were not much trees or any greens. It's like a desert, except there's no extreme weather going on.
Then the day cycle there seems different; or so maybe I thought since there's nothing resembling the summer that I knew there, the nights aren't very dark, and it's mainly grey like cloudy.

Went to my parallel version of my mom's workplace, greeted parallel versions of her coworkers. Couldn't recall them well, but we did interacted briefly.
I broke the stair's handle rails as I was going upstairs. The lady there didn't seem so mad at me and went there and fix it. Then there's me, scratching my head in frustration, saying that I seem to keep doing that all over almost just like me in this waking life.

After I sort of helped cleaning up the mess, I went and for some reason had some handheld game and played. It was two old games I used to have, except it seems like a more refined version of those old games.
Then went and watch on a, dunno, a TV? And watched some anime about some guy investigating some sorts, then her sister along with her friends were going to some place, etc, etc. I dunno and I forgot what it was about.

Tis funny. It's like I literally went for a nap to entertain myself out of boredom in my waking life.

Last night I dreamed I was at somebody's house and there was a female human toddler there but one else around. I was carrying a large shopping bag but I don't know what was in it. The toddler tried to snatch the bag from me and when I told her no she kept grabbing and pulling on it. She was being areal brat and seemed to be enjoying trying to steal something from me (I've been watching too many videos about entitled parents and their evil kids lately). So I pinned her the floor and attempted to swat her on her butt. But I couldn't. As soon as my hand got close it was like an invisible force-field was either preventing me from touching her or I knew I'd be in deep dung if I actually hit her. So instead I just verbally assaulted her, saying she was a rotten brat and I hated her. Then I left.

Now I'm on a bus that's taking me to my parent's house, and I'm the only passenger, but it drives right on by and I had to yell "STOP STOP!!", before the driver even did anything. He ends up only stopping when he's about a mile from my parents house and dropping me off. And then I remember talking to my mom or someone else who said they had assigned me to babysit their kid without my knowledge so I could earn some extra money. And then I realized that this was the same two-year-old I yelled at and left all alone.

What would make anyone with an ounce of brain think I could babysit their kid? Why did they make me do it without even telling me first? Also the female human toddler looked similar to a Baby Alive doll that I was playing around with last night. She had the same red hair, freckles and green eyes. Even her clothes looked similar.

My doll must be possessed, like Chucky! 8O But not exactly like Chucky because it didn't try to kill me. :)

The last clear dream I had was sailing on clear, then unchartered waters. Finding my way around a cruiseliner or steamship. I don't know the destination. Recently, I've been chatting through apps with someone who might have been in one of my dreams from long ago. It was airport mad though and I was suffering from severe menstrual cramps and abdo -pains. The person was looking straight on, but I felt hoodwinked then uneasy. They may have been just hanging around in other dreams too.. only was tempted to not let me go to someone or something, else. Contrary to that, I am due to have an operation to remove a cyst from my left ovary in the following few months ahead and I'm anxious about starting any kind of new contraception in order to not get pregnant, get physically active again, and maybe cut my chances of any leftover illnesses my body failed to eradicate in the first place. Whilst the chances of finding stability are slim, the potential for happiness is hovering over uncertain. I've been known to fail at expectations, and am even more sure now, that no one within or outside my immediate circle expects me to. I just wish I could settle and find somebody that makes me happy and who doesn't have to sit any tests in order to feel appreciated by who know me. I can defend that person but I can't stop them from leaving me due to family ties and obligations. Age holds no emotional barriers either for me., am yet to experience that situation contact wise. I can romanticise and be romanced, as long as that person wants to succeed in viewing life the same way as me without total immobile thinking and restrictions. Am I made to be hemmed in my whole life or what? Thinking on the same level doesn't make you equals if anything, it can restrict, derail or strengthen the bond in various ways. When it involves two or more people, the outcomes are anything but simple and ordinary.

I just remembered a quick flash from a dream I had hours ago. I was in a big city, possibly New York, up high in a red brick apartment building with a fire escape. It was the middle of the night and I was taking care of a little baby girl for a man who might have been a doctor? I don't think he was home but I also recall talking to him and expressing some type of problem, even though I didn't use a telephone. Our communication was strained for some reason and I kept looking down the fire escape as I talked to him. I think at one point I was out of the building in a more dangerous location. I can't remember if the baby was with me.

It was a weird dream for me because I don't usually have realistic dreams, or dreams involving anonymous characters. I mostly remember the mood of this dream. It was very mournful, lonely and sensory-based with moonlight in the puddles and rust on the fire escape.

I had a double header last night.

In the first dream, I found myself helping Dr Who and his companion search for some outlaw alien species in a large US city. The dream included a car chase with my old pickup.

In the second dream, they found a problem with my high school graduation and I had to go back to high school for my senior year again at the age of 65. I had to ride the school bus to and from school and they wouldn't let me take any class I had taken before. Also I became a disciplinary problem because the teachers and principal couldn't bring themselves to discipline someone the age of their parents.
