Buy valerian teabags and give one of them to your cat. That's even funnier than catnip.

I can't. Smoked some - didn't do much.

It's funny how catnip seems to affect cats in different ways. My old cat seemed to go drowsy and mellow with catnip, yet Mr Spud gets as high as a kite and full of beans, and starts tearing round the house like a kitten.

I think it works better on cats than people. That probably won't taste very good...

i bought a plastic bag of it, but my cat didn't seem to care for it so i put it on top of the refrigerator and forgot about it. then one day i came in to see the bag on the floor with all these little teeth marks in it.

Tastes fine. Just doesn't do anything for humans. :(

Well if it did, it'd probably be illegal like weed is!

Weed should be legal.

Cats should be incarcerated for chewing catnip.

I had one cat, who went all delirious when I offered her catnip. The one I have now, will get excited when I open the cannister, but when I give it to her, she just eats it, and doesn't seem any different. Or she'll just briefly roll in it and then walk away :?
