I think that I'm having seizures. I've experienced this phenomenon all of my adult life (as far as I can remember), but in the past year it's been happening more often. Sometimes it starts with a feeling like warm water or electricity flowing down my scalp, but every time it ends with my head shaking back and forth for a second or so.

My sound sensitivity has also gotten worse, and now (past three weeks), it seems that the "seizures" can also be triggered by auditory input (previously, they seemed to occur randomly). Someone slammed a door twice today (not even very loudly), and I had the involuntary head movement.

I'm able to trigger it myself by listening to crinkly sounds in youtube videos like these:

I've had a CAT scan and a sleep-deprived EEG, and both were normal.

Does anyone experience anything like this? I'm going to see a neurologist, but I don't know what to expect since my tests were normal. It's starting to freak me out.
