What do you find funny?

I read that people with ASD do in fact have a sense of humour, but it tends to 'differ somewhat from the norm'.

I don't understand what on earth that means.

So perhaps you guys could enlighten me. What sort of stuff do you find funny? Even if it's a small thing?

I enjoy puns and wordplay...

My big thing is SOUNDBOARD PRANK CALLS

The TV show crank yankers was not funny in my opinion. Those were voice calls.

a soundboard is a program or app that has sound clips from a movie that can be played by pressing buttons.

Anyway, I find this hilarious, mainly because I adore this guy. He's my hero, even though I was mad at him. I finally got over it though lol.

My sense of humor is difficult to put into words. I don't gravitate towards comedy much in itself and usually when I'm dying of laughter it's not from a joke that was intentional.

I find a lot of things funny, but I especially like things that are silly, nonsensical, ridiculous etc. kinda like this:

Also, my fiancé's jokes and impressions make me laugh, and there are too many comedies to name that make me laugh as well.

This is 1 thing that had me in tears when I first saw it. Basically a teacher has caught a student who was committing indecent exposure in the school grounds. She never saw his face (which was hidden behind a wall), so this is her way of trying to identify the culprit:

I find things that are ironic, to be funny. Or when someone says something that is in fact, completely opposite from the truth but they are blinded (by bias etc) and can't see that they are wrong. No one ever thinks that this type of thing is funny but I tend to. My favorite comic is Josh Blue. I don't find people like Dane Cook to be funny at all. In fact, most of what NT's tend to think of as funny, I think is stupid or not funny at all.

I find almost everything funny. I share the same humour as the majority, but I also find things funny what nobody else don't. Often I point to things and give a little laugh, not in an obvious babyish way, just in an admirable way.

The only thing I don't laugh at is people. Ok I laugh if somebody's the type to make you laugh, or even if their body language is humourous. But I don't laugh at people in a way that would hurt them, like some people do. If somebody slipped on a bit of ice, I wouldn't laugh at them. I would want to know if they're all right, and not humiliate them. If they got up laughing then I might laugh with them, but never at them.

My cats are funny. Cats in general are very funny to watch.
