Actually the studio plans on releasing "Selma" on Christmas Day 2014 in limited release, then expanding it to wide release in January.

Reminder: "The Golden Globes" will air THIS Sunday, January 11th (5pm PT / 8pm ET), on NBC; and, there's a count-down show on TONIGHT at 10pm ET, on NBC.

(Meryl Streep's been nominated TWENTY-NINE times----WOW!!)
